The ThinkSystem SR630 V4 server features dual Intel® Xeon® 6 processors with new class of Efficient-cores (E-cores), offering up to 288 cores in a 1U server. The extreme core density boost performance performance for high density and scale out workload in customer segments like cloud service providers (CSP) and telecommunication service over the previous generations.
The ThinkSystem SR630 V4 empowers CSP and Telco customers to streamline workloads, minimize data center space, and seamlessly prepare for future growth.
Faster Insights
The ThinkSystem SR630 V4, powered by the Intel® Xeon® 6 processors with E-cores, delivers faster insights for large customers such as CSPs and Telcos. It's specifically designed for highly parallel workloads, with the ability to process multiple independent tasks simultaneously.
With the latest PCIe 5.0 and an increase in DDR5 memory speed, the SR630 V4 offers 2x better application bandwidth, making it ideal for compute-intensive tasks like Telco’s 5G Core.
Designed for Efficiency
There are multiple options and features to increase the efficiency of the ThinkSystem SR630 V4. Customers can choose the efficiency features that fits their workloads and data center requirements best. New with the ThinkSystem SR630 V4 is the redesigned bezel which improves airflow by 5%.
Included with Intel's E-Core processor are significant power-savings, using less watts per CPU than the previous generation. With the increased number of cores, the SR630 V4 reduces power consumption while maximizing performance.
For maximum efficiency, The ThinkSystem SR630 V4 has the option for liquid-assist cooling with Lenovo Neptune. Neptune liquid-cooling removes heat more efficiently improving the server’s performance without hitting thermal thresholds.
Enhanced Security
Security is an important aspect of any infrastructure and at Lenovo, we take security seriously. We have enhanced our security features on the ThinkSystem SR630 V4 servers to ward off next level threats and ensure our hardware and firmware is secure out of the box. The ThinkSystem SR630 V4 has the latest FIPS 140-3 compliance and additional firmware protection to protect against bad actors.
XClarity One System Management
The ThinkSystem SR630 V4 includes XClarity One system management and the industry's first hybrid cloud-based unified Management-as-a-Service providing three predictive failure analytics engines to swiftly identify potential issues and minimize system downtime while increasing accuracy.
The ThinkSystem SR630 V4 includes XClarity Controller 3 (XCC3) to monitor server availability. Optional upgrade to XCC Platinum to provide remote control (keyboard video mouse) functions, support for mounting remote media files (ISO and IMG image files), boot capture, and power capping.
