Notes

  • Note 1: RAID 730-8i 1GB is available world-wide except USA and Canada
  • Note 2: SAS HBAs support SEDs (self-encrypting drives) by using software on the server and simply passing SED commands through the HBA to the drives.
  • Note 3: The 4i adapter for use in the SN550 blade server only supports RAID 0 and RAID 1 because the server has only two drives. The 4i adapter for use in the SN850 blade server only supports RAID 0, 1, 10, 5 and 6 (RAID 6 only with 930-4i) because the server has only four drives.
  • Note 4: Intel VROC NVMe RAID supports the RAID levels listed, however actual support depends on the VROC features selected for the particular server. See the server product guide for the server-specific VROC support information.
  • Note 5: SR635/SR655/SR645/SR665 with 2nd Gen AMD EPYC (Rome) processors do not support remote management.
  • Note 6: ThinkSystem V3 or later servers (4th Gen Intel Xeon or later) are supported. ThinkSystem V2 and V1 not supported. At least one NVMe drive must be connected to the first CPU to enable VROC OOBD management.
