SAP Business Applications
SAP Business Suite is a collection of integrated business applications. It consists of several modules and components that cover various functional areas such as enterprise resource planning, finance, human resources, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and more. SAP Business Suite was built on traditional databases and operated on a traditional disk-based storage system.
SAP S/4HANA represents a significant shift in SAP's business application strategy. SAP Direction
The SAP HANA platform is the next-generation data management foundation for all SAP business applications, with SAP announcing its business application suite will only support SAP HANA starting in 2027. SAP customers currently on earlier versions of the SAP Business Suite will need to migrate to SAP S/4HANA by that date.
