The Lenovo ThinkSystem NE2580O RackSwitch is part of the Lenovo Top of Rack (ToR) Ethernet switch family. It features programmable ASICs that can deliver in-band telemetry and support the latest cloud and SDN network requirements.
Sales and Service is coordinated with Lenovo and the Network OS provider working together to deliver upfront planning and long-term product support to help keep your data center running smoothly.
Disaggregated Data Center Networking
Use your preferred network operating system and Lenovo switches with features that include:
- High-performance leaf aggregation for large-volume applications including big data, hyperconverged, hyperscale, service provider and HPC solutions.
- ONIE (Open Network Install Environment) specific models from Lenovo, delivering support for third-party operating systems that complement centralized data center cloud infrastructures and management.
- An option to purchase a leading third-party ONIE-enabled operating system, Cumulus Linux / NetQ.
