Roberto Jacob Da Silva is Principal Software Engineer, Networking and Cloud Architect for the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG). As Principal Software Engineer for the ThinkAgile Cloud Platform, Roberto provides architectural direction and technical leadership focusing on the on-premises compute, storage, and networking functions. He is a Master Inventor with 26 issued or pending patents in Networking, Distributed Systems, Telemetry, and IoT/Edge technologies. With over 25 years of experience, Roberto worked in the industry at various levels as a Software Engineer. He was gifted with the opportunity to live and work in Belgium, Brazil, Spain, and the United States. His experience spans several technologies, including Cloud Platforms, Network Switches, Core Routers, Remote Access Servers, and Carrier-Grade SONET Multiplexers. Roberto holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
