ThinkSystem Single-Socket Servers
In November, Lenovo announced four new servers, three available world-wide and one available to China customers.
ThinkSystem ST50
The Lenovo ThinkSystem ST50 provides an easily manageable, ideal first server for a small-to-medium-sized business, and remote or branch office, or retail environments looking to increase productivity. A value-optimized motherboard design paired with the latest Intel Xeon E-2100 processors offer an aggressive price point for the ST50 versus high-end desktops, and with higher enterprise-level capabilities than a desktop alternative.
The space-saving form factor and dynamic capabilities of the ST50 make it well suited for day-to-day computing, file management, printing, email, and web serving in distributed environments. Highly efficient fans keep the server cool and reduce noise in an office environment.
