Clarifying Your Customer's Data Challenge

The goal of this course is to enable Lenovo Sellers and Business Partners to clarify the customer’s data challenge and as a result, reveal business gaps and challenges. The seller will then be able to align the appropriate category of Lenovo database/big data offerings which best addresses the customer’s business gap.
This learning provides suggestions and guidance for those customer conversations which follow the first level of meetings. This course targets the next level of conversation which typically turns towards more of a technical view. This includes a gap analysis of the customer’s business needs and their goals, plus identifying the correct Lenovo resource to help the customer and progress the sale. This learning does not cover the details of architecting and designing customer solutions.
By completing this course, sellers should be able to verify the customer business challenge and how it relates to the data flow. Determine the IT attributes and data flow changes needed to address the customer’s business gap. Determine the appropriate category of Lenovo Big data and/or data base solution for the customer. And progress the sale by connecting the right Lenovo resources with the customer at the right time.
