Lenovo ThinkSystem NE2552E Flex Switch is a 25G/100G Ethernet switch paired with ThinkSystem QLogic QL45212, QL45262 and QL45214 Flex Ethernet adapters that increase the Lenovo Flex Chassis networking speed by 2.5x to 5.x. Flex System now supports a networking range from 1GbE through 100GbE using the latest 25G Ethernet switch and adapter technology. Flex System is designed to evolve with the data center and the 25,50, 100G Flex additions deliver the networking power needed to fully engage the ThinkSystem SN550 and ThinkSystem SN850 Flex compute nodes, protecting your Flex investment while increasing your data center capacity for all workloads.
In this Lenovo Press walk-through, David Watts and Jim Whitten describe the switch and adapters and demonstrate their installation in a Flex Chassis.
