This month, Lenovo announced new options for ThinkSystem servers, as well as additional server support of existing options. We also announced a refresh of our ThinkAgile CP offering.

This month we enhanced the range of second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors that we offer across our server line.

Adapters
We added the following adapters to our server portfolio this month:
- 25 Gb Ethernet
- 100Gb and 200Gb InfiniBand
- 32Gb FC HBA
- NVIDIA Quadro GPUs

Additional server updates
We also announced this new support:
- ThinkSystem Friction 2-Post Screw-in Rail Kit for some rack servers including the ThinkSystem SR250 and SR150
- Added LTO7 and LTO8 support internal to the ThinkSystem ST50
- Added RAID 730-8i 2GB Flash PCIe 12Gb Adapter support to the ST50, ST250, SR150 and SR250
- VMware ESXi 6.7 U2 as a preload on M.2 drives with ThinkSystem servers
ThinkAgile CP
Earlier this month, we announced a refresh of the Lenovo ThinkAgile CP Series Cloud Platform where the compute nodes are now available with second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors.

Lenovo ThinkAgile CP Series is an all-in-one, composable cloud with an integrated application marketplace and end-to-end automation, delivering a turn-key cloud experience in your own data center. ThinkAgile CP Series uses modular compute, storage, and networking components paired with the cloud virtualization software to create pools of IT resources, independently scaling and allocating capacity, and automatically configuring resources to fulfill application requirements.
HPC updates
This month, Lenovo also announced updates to these HPC offerings:
- Lenovo Scalable Infrastructure (LeSI) Solutions - 19B release
- Lenovo Distributed Storage Solution for IBM Spectrum Scale (DSS-G) - New models
