The Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530 V3 and SD550 V3 are economical two-socket server nodes in half-width 1U and 2U form factors. The servers are mounted in the ThinkSystem D3 Chassis, a 2U enclosure that provides an efficient multi-node solution while consolidating the power supplies for all installed nodes.
Combining the efficiency and density of blades with the value and simplicity of rack-based servers, the SD530 V3 and SD550 V3 deliver a cost-efficient scale-out platform that is thermally designed to deliver maximum performance in the smallest footprint.
ThinkSystem SD530 V3
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530 V3 is a two-socket server in a 2U4N multi-node form factor. The solution consists of a 2U ThinkSystem D3 Chassis containing up to four front-access SD530 V3 servers (nodes). Each node incorporates two 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, two NVMe hot-swap drives, plus a PCIe slot and OCP slot for connectivity.
The following figure shows four ThinkSystem SD530 V3 servers installed in a D3 Chassis.
