The Lenovo Validated Design (LVD) for AI-Powered Industrial Workplace Safety, developed in collaboration with Avathon, delivers a turnkey edge AI solution that enhances real-time safety monitoring and compliance in industrial environments. Powered by Lenovo ThinkEdge SE360 V2 and SE455 V3 servers and Avathon’s Visual AI Advisor (VAIA) platform, this LVD enables automated detection of workplace hazards, PPE non-compliance, and unsafe behaviors using existing video infrastructure.
With edge inferencing for ultra-low latency and cloud-based training for continuous model improvement, the solution ensures operational resilience, data privacy, and regulatory alignment. Pre-validated for scalability and performance across small to large deployments, the design streamlines deployment with modular architecture, centralized management, and integration with enterprise systems, empowering organizations to proactively reduce risks, improve safety outcomes, and accelerate digital transformation.
