ThinkSystem SR780a V3
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR780a V3 is a powerful water-cooled 5U server that features two 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and eight high-performance GPUs. This server is the ultimate Generative AI server, with advanced GPU-to-GPU communications and high-speed PCIe 5.0 connectivity between the GPUs, CPUs, and networking. It was designed fully in-house by Lenovo from ground up to provide best-in-class modularity, thermal performance and reliability.
The SR780a V3 is now configurable and orderable in the DCSC configurator.

ONTAP 9.15
Our ThinkSystem DM Series and DG Series storage systems now support ONTAP 9.15. Here's what's new with ONTAP 9.15:
- SnapMirror Active Sync – GA release
- Encrypted NVLOG mirroring on DM7100F
- All MCC data is now encrypted
- Autonomous Ransomware Protection – Increased accuracy.
- Expansion of Multi Admin Verify commands
- NFS v3 over RDMA Support
- FlexCache Writeback – GA
- Reduced the number of reboots during ONTAP upgrades
- TLS 1.3 support for Cluster Peering Encryption
- Completes TLS journey
- FlexClone volumes will have unique encryption key (different from host FlexVol)

New transceiver for DM and DG storage
We've announced a new 25Gb transceiver for DM and DG storage systems:

Lenovo 25G SR SFP28 Amphenol Ethernet Transceiver, 4TC7A94751
The transceiver is supported on these systems:
- ThinkSystem DG5000
- ThinkSystem DG7000
- ThinkSystem DM3010H
- ThinkSystem DM5100F
- ThinkSystem DM7100F
- ThinkSystem DM7100H
New drive options for servers
The following new SSDs and HDDs have been announced:
- ThinkSystem PM7 Mixed Use SAS drive family, available in the 2.5" form factor in 1.6TB and 3.2TB capacities. For details, including server support, see the PM7 product guide.
- ThinkSystem PM9D3a Read Intensive NVMe drive family, available in E3.S and 2.5" form factors up to 15.26TB. For details, including server support, see the PM9D3a product guide.
- New v2 versions of the ThinkSystem 12TB, 16TB, and 20TB SAS and SATA HDDs in a 3.5" form factor. See the ThinkSystem HDD Reference for server support.
- We've also expanded the support of existing drive families to additional servers. See these product guides for server support:

- Support for Intel Xeon Platinum 8593Q 64C 385W 2.2GHz processor for these servers:

- Support for the 3.84TB 7450 PRO Read Intensive NVMe M.2 drive for this server:
- Support for Broadcom 57504 25GbE 4-port OCP and PCIe adapters for these servers:
- Support for the ThinkSystem M.2 RAID B540i-2i SATA/NVMe Adapter in this server:
- New Security bezel for the following server:
- New option part number for Security and Standard front bezels for the following server:
- New option part number for field replacements (customer spare parts) of the CR2032 coin battery for the ThinkEdge servers

In case you missed it, at the end of July we announced the following GPU support:

Subscription licenses of 5 years are now available for NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise:
